Job Description: We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Supermarket Clerks in Canada. Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform cashier duties, including processing cash, debit, and credit transactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, displays, and aisles.
- Stock and replenish shelves, ensuring products are properly labeled and priced.
- Monitor product expiration dates and remove any expired items from shelves.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and unpacking shipments, checking for damaged or missing items, and restocking inventory as needed.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and product offerings to provide accurate information to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Follow all safety and security procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to food safety guidelines.
Requirements:
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and have a valid work permit or visa sponsorship in 2023.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
