Job Summary: Our company is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Housekeepers in various locations across Canada. As a foreign worker, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Canadian hospitality industry while gaining valuable work experience in a multicultural environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, ensuring they meet established standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety.
- Make beds, change linens, and replenish towels and toiletries as necessary.
- Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sweep and mop floors to maintain a clean and inviting environment.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including fixtures, mirrors, and surfaces.
- Restock supplies, such as amenities, tissues, and toilet paper, in guest rooms and common areas.
- Empty trash receptacles and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to guest requests or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the security and privacy of guests’ belongings.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and handling of cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications:
- Valid work permit or visa allowing employment in Canada (foreign workers)
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, following instructions and prioritizing tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in English (additional language skills are advantageous).
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, and stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
