Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Hotel Driver to join our team at Dorchester Collection in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting guests, staff, and goods safely and efficiently, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all.
Job Responsibilities
- Transport guests to and from the hotel, airport, and other destinations as required.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
- Assist guests with their luggage and provide courteous customer service.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle.
- Keep a log of all trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Report any vehicle issues or incidents to the management promptly.
- Provide information about the local area and hotel services when asked by guests.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications/Skills
- Valid UAE driving license.
- Excellent driving record with a clean background.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Dubai’s roadways and traffic regulations.
- Ability to handle stressful driving situations calmly and efficiently.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a professional driver, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle brands and their operation is a plus.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
Working Environment
- Predominantly outdoor work, driving in various weather conditions.
- Interaction with guests, staff, and management in a luxury hotel setting.
