Job Responsibilities
- Staff Management: Supervise and train farm workers, assigning tasks and ensuring they are completed efficiently and safely.
- Operational Oversight: Manage daily farm operations including planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Production Monitoring: Monitor crop and livestock growth, assess quality, and implement improvements to optimize yield and productivity.
- Inventory Control: Oversee the inventory of seeds, fertilizers, and other farm supplies, ensuring proper storage and usage.
- Health and Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all farm staff. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of farm activities, including production data, staff hours, and equipment usage.
