Job Summary: As a Cleaner Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing our cleaning operations across various client sites. You will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaners, ensuring that all assigned areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both the cleaning team and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of cleaners, assigning tasks and ensuring efficient use of resources
- Train new cleaning staff, providing guidance on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to ensure compliance with cleaning standards and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Address client concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, taking appropriate actions to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor the performance of cleaning staff, providing constructive feedback and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Collaborate with the operations team to develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring adequate coverage at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, promoting a safe work environment for all staff
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cleaning techniques and equipment
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and chemicals
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada
