As a Warehouse Receiver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse by receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments of heating and plumbing supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Inspect received items for damages, discrepancies, and accuracy of orders.
• Record and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
• Label, tag, and organize received items for storage and distribution.
• Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing receiving tasks.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating inventory.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems or inventory software.
• Valid forklift operator certification is preferred but not required.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in warehouse receiving or a similar role is an asset.
• Familiarity with heating and plumbing products is advantageous.
