Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required. We welcome individuals who are compassionate, dedicated, and willing to learn.
- Valid certification or diploma in a healthcare-related field is an asset (e.g., Personal Support Worker, Health Care Aide, Nursing Assistant).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Empathy, patience, and understanding towards individuals with diverse backgrounds and varying levels of independence.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per operational needs.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal record check and provide references.
