Company KITSILANO STAINED GLASS LTD .is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals for the position of Production Worker in Canada. As an essential part of our team, you will contribute to the production process, ensuring efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations. Responsibilities:
- Operating production machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Monitoring production processes to ensure smooth workflow, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or abnormalities promptly.
- Performing quality checks on finished products, adhering to product specifications and maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Assembling and packaging products according to specific instructions and guidelines, ensuring accurate labeling and packaging for shipment.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the production area, including regular cleaning of equipment and workstations to meet hygiene standards.
- Assisting with inventory management by accurately counting and recording incoming and outgoing products or materials.
- Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines, actively participating in team meetings and discussions.
- Following all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and productivity, and promoting a positive work culture.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, standing or walking for extended periods and lifting heavy objects as necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Flexibility to work in different shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required by the production schedule.
- Valid work permit or eligibility for visa sponsorship in Canada.
