Globaleye Consultancy is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team in Canada. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with their purchase needs.
  2. Process cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  3. Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies at the end of each shift.
  4. Ensure pricing and product information is accurate and visible to customers.
  5. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
  6. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including assisting with inventory management and receiving shipments.
  7. Uphold company policies and procedures, including following cash handling and security protocols.
  8. Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner, escalating to the supervisor or manager when necessary.
  9. Continuously update product knowledge to provide accurate information and suggestive selling to customers.
  10. Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably as a cashier or in a retail environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Strong numeracy and basic math skills.
  5. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  6. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  8. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  9. Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
  10. Knowledge of relevant legal and security regulations related to cashier duties
